Raised in West London, Olympia has already established herself in the soul genre, addressing topics close to her heart through her writing and seamlessly blending her reflections on both significant and everyday matters.
Olympia’s fluid vocalisation and distinct improvisational style comes from seven years experience singing in gospel choirs as well as the undeniable influences of jazz and hip-hop; Olympia cites references that span Amy Winehouse and Aretha Franklin to Nas and Kendrick Lamar.
Olympia’s career has shone through live performances, performing her single ‘The Rush’ on A COLORS SHOW, and supporting the likes of Baby Rose, Teddy Swims, Victor Ray, Bilal, and Corto.Alto across the UK and EU. Off the back of festival performances at St Lucia Jazz Festival, Cross The Tracks, We Out Here, and Latitude Olympia played her debut headline show at Ellen’s Jazz Bar in House of KOKO.
Releasing her debut EP ‘People Watching’ in July 2025, the project was a reflection of Olympia re-telling stories, observing people and their impact on her or other people, with as little judgement as possible. The project has garnered over 1 million streams and received support from Radio 1, as well as publications such Clash, who labelled her as one of the 25 Artists Who Could Define the year.
