Sunnan, five strangers, met and formed through the aligning of three unexpected events: a pandemic creating a space in time, the view from a gigantic panoramic window located in a barn in Sunnanhed, providing the members with an inescapable cinematic perspective. And last, a chance encounter with a legend from Stockholm’s 90s rave scene next door, sharing unorthodox instruments and eccentric philosophies, igniting the band in the founding creative process. The members, all well known musicians and performers in the Swedish music industry would never have found each other or their sound if it weren’t for these factors.

The band has gained significant attention for its catchy singles, including My Love For You, Wild Horses and its collaboration with soul icon Titiyo on The Sound (Make It Come Back). Their debut album “Cinema” earned them two Swedish Grammy Nominations along with praise from major Nordic publications and critics. Following up with the EP “Cinema Sound System”, which the band describe as the afterparty to the movie, they have taken the next steps towards global recognition and growing their dedicated fanbase. All three singles (Can’t Find Love, Feel and Cannot Get Enough) have been on heavy radio rotation on major nordic channels with global DSP support.

With their unique expression and powerful live performances, Sunnan delivers a musical experience unlike anything else. After several sold out headline shows during the winter, they now embark on their first major summer/fall tour with over 20 stops across the Nordics and EU.
