A message from Sondre:
This month I would have embarked on the full-band Patience tour of the US, with plans to have visited Asia, Brazil, and Mexico in the fall. Seeing as this summer turned out nothing like any of us had planned, I have felt incredibly lucky that I’ve been able to do an extensive but intimate solo tour of the album in Norway. Audiences up to 200, one meter apart, unless you are from the same household. Just me, alone in a rental car, backseat full of Patience vinyl and merch, and one nylon string guitar, traveling all over the country.
Many folks have asked what it’s been like and I’ve felt bad that I’ve not been able to share this Solo Patience experience with the rest of the world — beyond photos and clips on social media. So, I decided to try and capture one of the shows, a concert in one of the most beautiful places I know: Henningsvœr, a small town in the extraordinary Lofoten Islands, way north in Norway. A few years ago some friends from Bergen took over an old woodwork factory and turned it into a restaurant, cafe, hotel, art space and place for music. I did two really fun shows there and now you can enjoy Solo Patience: Live in Lofoten together with me and my friends.
